Axis for tray
Axis for tray of the 4D single-brush sander sprocket
The axis for tray is a central part that connects the motor drive pinion to the platen. This pin transmits the rotary motion of the motor to the platen, allowing the platen to rotate for sanding, polishing or other cleaning purposes.
The motor drive pinion is located at one end of the motor, while the platen is located at the other end of the shaft. When the motor is running, it drives the pinion which, in turn, turns the spindle and the plate. This allows the platen to make circular movements for sanding or polishing tasks.
In terms of when to consider changing the spindle for the single-brush sander sprocket plate, here are some signs that it may need replacing:
1. Excessive play or looseness: if you notice excessive play or side-to-side movement in the axle, this may be a sign that the axle is worn and no longer holding the platter correctly in place.
2. Abnormal noises: If you hear unusual noises coming from the sander during operation, such as grinding, rattling or rubbing, this may indicate that the spindle is worn or damaged.
3. Difficulty turning the platen: if the platen has difficulty turning freely or does not turn smoothly, this may be due to a problem with the spindle.
4. Unsatisfactory performance: if you notice a significant drop in the sander's performance, with less satisfactory sanding, polishing or cleaning results, this may be linked to a problem with the spindle.
If you experience any of these problems or suspect that the spindle for the sprocket plate is faulty, it is recommended that you call in a qualified Repex Floor technician to carry out the diagnosis and replace the spindle if necessary. Make sure you use genuine Repex Floor spare parts to ensure perfect compatibility with your single disc sander and to obtain optimum performance.
