Vacuum Cleaner Basket

for the 4D2 vacuum cleaner of the 4D single-brush sander 

The main function of the Vacuum cleaner basket is to support the vacuum cleaner, allowing it to be positioned above the sander. This provides greater mobility and makes it easier to move the unit around the worksite.

The main function of the vacuum basket is therefore to:

1. Vacuum support: provides a solid, stable support for the vacuum cleaner, enabling it to be mounted above the single-brush sander.

2. Improved mobility: by placing the vacuum cleaner above the sander, the whole unit is more mobile on the job site. The operator can move the sander and vacuum cleaner more easily and without excessive encumbrance.

3. Space management: the vacuum basket frees up floor space, avoiding potential obstacles and allowing greater freedom of movement during sanding.

When to change the vacuum basket depends on how worn it is and how solid it is as a support for the vacuum cleaner.

Here are a few signs that may indicate it's time to change the part:

1. Visible wear: if you notice that the vacuum cleaner basket has deformations, cracks, damage or broken parts, it may no longer be able to support the vacuum cleaner properly.

2. Reduced stability: if the vacuum basket is no longer able to hold the vacuum cleaner stably in place during movement, the mobility and safety of the unit may be compromised.

3. Difficulty attaching: if you have difficulty attaching the vacuum cleaner securely to the basket, this may indicate that the basket needs replacing.

We recommend checking the condition of the vacuum cleaner basket regularly, and replacing it as soon as signs of wear or failure appear. A vacuum basket in good condition ensures better mobility and easier use of the 4D single-brush sander on the job site.
