Brass wheel socket
Brass wheel socket for BLE ORIGINALE edger
The Brass wheel socket on the wheel train of a BLE Original flange machine performs a function similar to that of a bronze bushing. It acts as a bearing component, reducing friction between the various moving parts of the wheel train. Brass bushes are often chosen for their corrosion resistance and durability.
It is necessary to change the brass bushing in the following cases:
1. Excessive wear: If the brass bushing shows signs of wear, such as deep grooves, deformation or an uneven surface, it is time to replace it. Excessive wear can compromise smooth wheel rotation and lead to performance problems.
2. Excessive play: If the bushing has excessive play, this can lead to undesirable movement of the wheel train, affecting the stability and accuracy of the edger. In this case, we recommend replacing the bushing.
3. Structural defects: In the event of structural damage, such as cracks or breaks, the brass bushing must be replaced. Structural defects compromise the integrity of the part and can lead to potentially dangerous failures.
4. Change in design or configuration: If the Original BLE Trimmer undergoes modifications or upgrades that require a different brass bushing in terms of size, load capacity or functionality, it may be necessary to change the part.
It is important to follow the Original BLE Trimmer manufacturer's recommendations for maintenance and parts replacement. In general, the brass bushing should be replaced as soon as signs of wear, excessive play or structural defects are detected to ensure optimum machine performance and safe operation.
