The Zirconium discs centre hole Ø 150 have a distinctive blue colour. They are specially designed for work on metals and hard materials, ensuring maximum efficiency during the roughing phase. However, they are generally not recommended for finishing work, as they can leave slight micro-scratches on surfaces. One notable advantage is that the grains have the ability to sharpen naturally during sanding, prolonging the life of the discs. The average sanding area can vary depending on the material, with an average of around 90 to 100 square metres per disc.
It is essential to stress that there is a diversity of quality among zirconium abrasives, with zirconium concentrations ranging from 20% to 60%. As a result, products from the Repex range, which contain 60% zirconium, are recommended for optimum performance.
