PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Mordant Reactive English Brown 2258 1L, a reactive ageing stain made from natural, reactive dyes, is specially designed to give an authentic patina to tannin-rich woods such as oak and softwoods.
Once applied and dried, MORDANT provides the perfect canvas for oil finishes, allowing you to enhance your work with exceptional results.

Its reactivity to wood tannins gives unique finishes, while its combination with coloured oils opens up a wide range of creative possibilities.
Easily adjust colour intensity with Mordant Reactive English Brown 2258 1L, giving you precise control over the final result.

APPLICATION
Before applying, make sure you stir and shake the product well. Apply Mordant Reactive English Brown 2258 1L generously in the direction of the wood grain, then spread evenly. You can use a brush or a pressure sprayer to apply the product. In the latter case, make sure you spread the product evenly with a brush or cloth.

Caution: because of its reactivity, make sure you apply it evenly over the entire surface;

DRYING TIME
Drying time depends on a number of factors such as ambient temperature, humidity and ventilation. Strictly observe the recommended reaction time.

SUBSEQUENT TREATMENT
Once the reaction time is complete, smooth the surface with a polishing pad. Then, make sure you remove any residue or dust from the surface before applying finishes with oil or varnish.
