Zirconium Discs are easily recognised by their distinctive blue colour. They are specifically designed for working metal and resistant materials, guaranteeing maximum efficiency during roughing operations. However, they are generally not recommended for finishing, as they can cause slight micro-scratches on surfaces. One of the main advantages of these discs is the ability of their grains to self-sharpen during sanding, extending their life. It should be noted that the quality of zirconium abrasives can vary, with zirconium content ranging from 20% to 60%. The latter option, as offered in the Repex Floor product range, is ideal for optimum performance.
