Silicon carbide grids Ø 406

Silicon carbide grids Ø 406

Silicon Carbide Grids Ø 406 come in a range of grits, from 60 to 150, differing mainly in the fineness of their abrasive.  They are used to grind parquet. This abrasive has high cutting power but is not very prone to clogging because it is manufactured on a widely-spaced mesh structure.

The main difference between grains lies in the roughness of the surface obtained, the speed of material removal and the specific application. Coarser grits (such as 60 grit) are suitable for roughing work, while finer grits (such as 150 grit) are used for finishing and obtaining smooth surfaces. The choice of grit therefore depends on the nature of the project and the desired results.
