The cooling fan in a BLO heavy-duty sander is primarily designed to regulate the engine temperature by dissipating the heat generated during operation. It may be necessary to replace the cooling fan in the following situations:

When to replace the part?

Wear or physical damage: If the fan is damaged, cracked or shows signs of excessive wear, it may no longer function properly. In this case, it is recommended that it be replaced.

2. Cooling problems: If the engine starts to show signs of overheating despite the fan working properly, this may indicate a problem with the fan itself. Replacement may be necessary to ensure adequate cooling.

3. Abnormal noises: Unusual noises coming from the fan may indicate internal mechanical problems. If the fan makes rubbing, squeaking or other abnormal noises, it may need to be replaced.
