Zirconium discs Ø 200 feature a distinctive blue colour. They are specifically designed for use on metals and hard materials, guaranteeing maximum efficiency during roughing operations. However, they are generally not recommended for finishing work, as they can cause slight micro-scratches on surfaces. A significant advantage is the ability of the grit to sharpen naturally during sanding, which extends the life of the discs. The average sanding area can vary depending on the material, with an average of around 90 to 100 square metres per disc.

It is important to note that zirconium abrasives vary in quality, with zirconium concentrations ranging from 20% to 60%. Therefore, products from the Repex range, which contain 60% zirconium, are highly recommended for optimum performance.
